Danny Rolling born Daniel Harold Rolling famously known as The Gainesville Ripperwas an American serial killer who murdered five students in Gainesville, Florida, over four days in late August 1990. He was born on 26 May 1954, Shreveport, Louisiana, United States and Died on 25 October 2006, Florida State Prison, Florida, United States aged 52 years· His zodiac sign is Cancer. Rolling confessed to raping several of his victims, committing a triple homicide in his home city of Shreveport, Louisiana, and attempting to murder his father in May 1990. In total, Rolling confessed to killing eight people. Rolling was given a death sentence for the five Gainesville murders in 1994. He was executed by lethal injection in 2006. The horror movie, Scream, was written based on his life.
