AAmarwas born in Lake Wales, Florida, a small town about an hour outside of Orlando. Stoudemire’s parents, Hazell and Carrie, divorced when he was a child. They have two sons, Hazell Jr. and Amar Stoudemire’s mother worked in agriculture, harvesting oranges in Florida and traveling to upstate New York to collect apples in the fall.
